This year, June 15th will mark the first Stanford Eid Festival put on by the Stanford Office for Religious Life. The inaugural festival will be happening in White Plaza, featuring music, dance, and foods from all around the world!
Eid al-Fitr means «festival of breaking the fast» and marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan for Muslims around the world. Eid is celebrated in many forms, depending on the traditions of the various regions in which Muslims live. Many people wear traditional clothes, give gifts or cards, and share food and drink.
Please join us for Stanford's first-ever Eid Festival!
